Providing a female goat to a vulnerable widow or family can help bring some lasting security. A goat will produce kids that can be sold for funeral costs, medical fees and school fees. What may seem simple, can be a true lifeline.
Uganda is one of the most entrepreneurial countries and many people are involved in small-scale business to try to make ends meet, whether that is selling leafy vegetables, fruit or 2nd hand clothes. Ask us about opportunities to support an enterprising individual with a business start-up that can help provide long-lasting change for their families.
Water is essential for life and clean water means there are less water-borne diseases keeping a community healthier. By isolating natural springs, a small structure is built to raise the collection point off the ground. Each spring impacts roughly 25-50 households.
